An iconic motor sport venue nestled in the heart of the Leicestershire countryside, Mallory Park has a rich racing heritage and an adrenalin-fuelled future, with plans to revive motorsport memories spanning half a century with the return of big-time events.

Set among tranquil lakes and rolling hills, Mallory Park’s location also makes it a unique event venue, where delegates can arrive at their company conference as a sales rep and depart as a racing driver with a motorsport competition licence.

From adrenaline fuelled racing to high-speed passenger rides to triathlons and cycling – the friendly circuit puts its visitors in the driving seat, inviting you to participate, not just spectate.

Classes competing at this event

Division One

This is perceived as one of the premier classes in long circuit karting. The karts may weigh 10kg more than its F250 rival, but the trick chassis in these karts offer full tuning and set-up capabilities – the karting equivalent of Formula One. Boasting around 100bhp, these pocket-rockets will push you to 145mph in seconds – just inches off the ground!

F250 National

Moving through the gears, the next class up is for the F250 National runners. Using a single 250cc engine derived from motorcross bikes, these karts with evolution engines made by a variety of manufactures, produce 65bhp with speeds nudging 130mph. The biggest difference to the 125 class are the larger wings and aerodynamic elements. Historically, this class used to be the British Championship with National titles offered through the other classes.

F450 National

The F450 National class – the big engine karts. In looks and performance, these monsters are similar to the F250 karts, but the noticeable difference is the size of the engine, shoe-horned onto the kart. The four-stroke motorcycle engine karts produce more low-end torque – perfect for the tighter and twisty sections, but can still accelerate all the way up to 130mph.

Formula 125 Open

The Formula 125 Open is an ideal way to start in superkarts and is the cheapest way to get into long circuit racing. The smallest engine size in the line-up, these karts use a modified 125cc KZ engine from series such as the British Kart Championships. The unit pushes out approximately 50 bhp and the most noticeable difference to its bigger brothers is the lack of a rear wing. With no wings comes less downforce and slower cornering speeds, but these projectiles can still nudge speeds reaching 120 mph.
