A thrilling start to the British Superkart Grand Prix, with the drivers taking to the Donington Park circuit for qualifying ahead of the first heat.
The record-breaking Division 1 driver Sam Moss dominates the grid once again as he finishes qualifying at the top, securing a pole position start for Heat 1, with close competitor Liam Morley just 0.3 seconds behind to finish in second. As for the 250 National series, Paul Platt claims the lead, with the #GP driver putting in a stellar performance on track. Kevin Ridley setting a good pace to get ahead of his 450 National competitors by one-second. And finally, 125 Open driver Mark Bramhall manages to record the quickest time in this division ahead of championship winner Tom Riley.
With the drivers in close competition and a gap of less than a second in some cases, there promises to be plenty of exciting on-track action in Heat 1 at 4:30pm.
