The Motorsport UK British Superkart Grand Prix occurs at the end of this month (25-26 September) at the iconic Donington Park circuit.
It was a successful conclusion to the 2021 British Superkart Championship at Cadwell Park (28-29 August), as the championship winners for each class were confirmed. Ross Allen claimed victory in the Division 1 class, with Lee Harpham just missing out on the win after an outstanding performance in the final round. Lee Plain stormed ahead in the F250 National class and took the win after successfully finishing pole in races in each championship round.
As for the F450 National division, Mark Gellatly secured a strong lead after scoring maximum points in five of the nine championship rounds. After collating maximum points in all races at Mallory Park, Formula 125 Open driver Tom Riley showed his potential, which led to the driver claiming the championship title.
As the Grand Prix draws ever closer, we are looking forward to welcoming back several of our championship drivers and some new faces to the race event. The grid is nearly at full capacity, so make sure you place your entry soon to race at Donington Park.
